I am excited to announce that Albert Campbell District Branch Library will re-open on July 25th to the community after a dynamic $21 million renovation that renewed and expanded the library incorporating elements from the existing footprint while creating new, accessible and spectacular spaces. Staff eagerly welcome back children, youth, seniors and community groups to enjoy this incredible community resource that offers a safe and vibrant place for all including a new Digital Innovation Hub, an accessible auditorium and outdoor patio area as well as a smudging and entry garden featuring native species, a medicine wheel, program space and mural all designed in collaboration with the indigenous community.
