In May 2021 STACK, a digital infrastructure leader announced that they will be expanding for the first time into Canada through a partnership with First Gulf to develop a new data centre in Toronto on the 19 acre site at 3650 Danforth Avenue, formerly home to Eli Lilly. Immediate capacity will be ready mid- 2022 with future expansion, as well.
This will be a great investment in the City’s digital infrastructure. This investment in the region’s digital infrastructure to power the City and its business community is great news. Increased technology access, development and jobs are critical to Toronto’s growth, this investment being an excellent use of this expansive site. Future updates to come.
