Mayor Tory launches Spring Job Fairs

Initiative helps connect young people with job opportunities

Mayor John Tory announced a series of job fairs across the city to connect young people with job opportunities. These job fairs are part of the City’s ongoing efforts to work with private sector employers and community partners to connect young people with jobs and training opportunities.

The City’s youth job fairs are focused on supporting young people ages 16 to 29:

  • Etobicoke Community Job Fair:
    – March 29, Istar Banquet Hall, 235 Dixon Rd, Unit 11-13
  • Retail Council of Canada Spring Job Fair:
    – April 17, Toronto Reference Library, 789 Yonge St.
  • Job and Career Fair:
    – May 9, Scarborough Civic Centre, 150 Borough Dr.
